Hi Kathleen, I just wanted to say that I think that ‘Unmaking War: Remaking Men is terrific. I’ve been working on issues of state violence in particular for a few years now and have found it extremely enlightening.
concerning Sgt. Wuterich, Unfortunately I see the same internal logic to the normalization of massacre as you do. The same processes of denial seem to govern every conflict that I’ve looked at.
